The Greene County girls track team had two meets last week, taking sixth place at both.
On April 19, the Rams took part in the Denison-Schleswig meet. Placing sixth as a team, top finishers included Olivia Shannon taking first in the 200 meter dash, as well as the 4×200 relay placing first.
High jump – Isabella Schroeder, 4’ 4”, eighth.
Long jump – Kamryn Sanders, 12’ 7”, 11th.
100 meter hurdles – Rylyn Sigler, 19.62, 11th; Alexa Peters, 20.71, 15th.
100 meter dash – Alexa Peters, 14.25, eighth; Rylyn Sigler, 14.50, 11th.
200 meter dash – Olivia Shannon, 27.57, first; Kamryn Sanders, 30.25, 13th.
400 meter dash – Olivia Shannon, 1:04.36, second.
4×100 meter relay – Olivia Shannon, Katrina Heupel, Natalie Heupel, Isabella Schroeder, 53.53, second.

Thursday, the team traveled to Carroll for the Tiger Relays. They again placed sixth.
First place finishes came from Olivia Shannon in long jump and the 200 meter dash. The 4×200 meter relay team finished second in the meet.

Long jump – Olivia Shannon, 16’ 5.25”, first; Kamryn Sanders, 14’ 5.25”, seventh.

The girls were scheduled to take part in the Gilbert Coed Bengal Relays on Monday and the Hawk Relays in Woodward-Granger on Tuesday.
